We really enjoyed our time in the bean camper. It had everything we needed, a nice comfortable bed, the cabin was cool in the day and kept us warm at night. Kitchen was adequate with a big fridge and loads of storage throughout. The awning was easy to assemble too, we would highly recommend the bean camper. As an owner, Ringo gave a very informed handover and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. Five stars from us.

Amazing little camper. Easy to tow and easy to set up. With the benefit of hindsight it wasn't ideal for my needs - as a wildlife photographer with too many cameras I needed a bit more functional space for all my crap, but for many people this thing will be ideal - And it looks so cool! Lots of people interested in it!

Fit for Purpose for our weekender away

We hired the Cool Bean for about 2 weeks and it was the perfect choice for our Exmouth/ Karijini trip. The Cool Beans fill a little niche in the market and are a great concept, particularly when the expectation is that you'll be getting fine weather. If you want a van that is quick and simple to set up, tows easily and is suited to a travelling couple then this van ticks the boxes. We covered about 5000Km over two weeks but they were easy miles. My handover from Ringo was very thorough and took about an hour, and there was no questions, confusion or concerns by the end of it. Ringo is a friendly and practical bloke, and understands that things do break from time to time, and is realistic about it. All he ask's is that you treat the camper as if it we're your own, clean it before handing it back, and be honest about any problems you might have experienced, which is all completely fair enough. To add to that, make sure you leave enough time for cleaning the camper at the end of your trip, especially if your travelling through red dirt country. It was a great holiday, action packed, beaut scenery and we slept like babies......accept for one night in a free camp ground where we found ourselves close to some feral hippies that thought that didgeridoo, fire dancing and techno music was a good combination, and needed to express this artistic medley until 2am! That experience aside, its one of the best trips we've had in years!

A real pleasure from the start! Easy communication and flexible too. The handover at pickup time was thorough and we got a full overview of the function, which was handy for first time users. The bean was not only a hit for us but anyone walking past it at the camp site wanted to check it out too. Nothing but great things to say about Ringo and the bean! We had a wonderful week away in Karijini. The van was a perfect base and was a welcome sight at the end of a day of exploring. It had everything we needed for our escape.

Ringo and Kat are a lovely couple and we really enjoyed our trip with their Cool Bean camper . They gave us some great camping spots and were very pleasant. We will definitely be going to them in the future for camper hire!
